Clash Verge Rev Introduction

Clash Verge is a very popular Clash GUI client. However, after the Clash for Windows repository deletion incident, the author of Clash Verge chose to archive it, so Clash Verge will no longer be updated.

Clash Verge Rev was born as a continuation version of Clash Verge, also based on Tauri, supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms. It continues the GUI style of Clash Verge, allowing users familiar with Clash Verge to easily switch. Clash Verge Rev is currently under continuous development and update, so there’s no need to worry about the security risks associated with lack of maintenance.

FAQs

macOS system prompts “file is damaged”

Open Terminal, enter the following command to resolve:

sudo xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Clash\ Verge.app

Unable to start in Windows

Clash Verge Rev requires WebView2, first ensure WebView2 is installed. Here is the WebView2 download link. You can also try uninstalling and reinstalling Clash Verge and WebView2.

Unable to activate tun mode

In Windows, you need to run it in administrator mode, or install it in service mode. For Mac/Linux, go to the settings of the Clash kernel, click the gear icon ⚙️, and click “Authorize”.

Error installing service mode

This was a known compatibility issue in previous versions, which actually doesn’t affect use and has been fixed in the latest version. The main purpose of service mode is to allow users to start the tun feature without needing administrator privileges.

Logs taking up too much space

You can adjust the log level to “silent” or “error” and configure the log auto-cleanup cycle in “Miscellaneous Settings.”

Does Clash Verge Rev provide Android or iOS versions?

Unfortunately, Clash Verge Rev is currently only available for desktop and has not yet released a mobile version. However, we have selected two excellent alternative software for Android and iOS platforms:
